Hazardous area installations have to be right first time. Equipment must suit the classified zone, gas or dust group and temperature class, and it must be installed so that its protection concept is maintained. We carry out electrical installation work for both general industrial and Ex environments.
Our installation work covers the equipment that keeps a plant running — local control stations, panels, distribution boards and the associated cabling and field equipment. In hazardous areas, the integrity of each installation depends on details such as correct cable entry, gland selection, sealing and earthing.
Where required, installations can be followed by inspection and documentation, so that you have a clear record of what was installed and its condition at handover.
