A bindicator is a rotary paddle level indicator. A slowly rotating paddle is mounted through the wall of a bin, silo or hopper; when bulk material reaches the paddle and stops it turning, the unit switches a signal — indicating high, low or intermediate level.
Level indication helps prevent overfilling, running empty and the downtime and spillage that come with both. Bindicators are a simple, robust way of providing that signal for bulk solids such as grain, powders, aggregates and similar materials.
