Periodic inspection of hazardous area equipment is governed by SANS 60079-17, which sets out the requirements for visual, close and detailed inspections of installed equipment. The interval between periodic inspections shall not exceed three years without seeking expert advice.
Paper-based inspections make that difficult to manage: records are hard to find, equipment histories are scattered and defects can go unresolved. InspectX turns the process into a streamlined, digital-first system designed for accuracy, accountability and ease of use.
