A Certificate of Compliance (CoC) confirms that an electrical installation has been inspected and tested and meets the applicable requirements. It is required under the Electrical Installation Regulations, issued in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993.
A CoC is typically required for new installations, alterations and additions, and when a property changes ownership. It must be issued by a registered person after the installation has been inspected and tested.
We inspect and test the installation, identify anything that needs to be corrected and, once the installation complies, issue the certificate and supporting test report.
